April 15

This week has been pretty good. We taught some crazy people which is always fun and exciting. Tuesday we had zone training and it went alright. I think it could have gone a lot better. President Sagers came and it made me nervous during my training, so it wasn't as good as it was supposed to be. The focus was all about baptism, not only inviting people to be baptized but setting baptismal dates. Wednesday we had a priest come out with us all day (he's home schooled). We had 7 appointments lined up and 6 of them fell through. It was super lame, but the one we did get to teach we set a baptismal date with so that was pretty sweet! Her name is Jessica. She's a young mom who is engaged. She is searching for truth and has been doing some church shopping in the past, so we're really excited to be teaching her. Thursday we met with a Part-member family who seems pretty legit. The wife's daughter is getting married in like 2 weeks though which is taking up pretty much all of her time. So it'll be a few weeks before we meet with them again, but hopefully we'll get to start working with them. Also on thursday we taught a new investigator named Boomer. We had street contacted him last week and got to teach him on thursday. He's super legit. He has wondered a lot of things about religion, and the gospel answers all of his questions! The only problem is that he's moving, so we'll have to baptize him quickly :P. Sunday we had a meeting with the Stake Presidency and reported the missionary work in the Denton Stake. The Stake Presidency has some great plans for the missionary work in the stake and we can all work together to accomplish the plans Denton is going to be the highest baptizing stake in Texas!
That was my week.
Love, Elder Jardine
