April 9

This has been a really good week. Monday evening we found a less-active member who's records aren't in the ward yet and one of his coworkers is a ward missionary in our ward so he's gonna work on him. Tuesday I went on exchange with Elder Warburton! We had an appointment but no one was home when we showed up so we did stopbys and made a few return appointments! We were on exchange with a member of the ward and he dropped us off at like 8:45 so we walked around the apartment complex for 15 minutes looking for people to talk too. The last door we knocked we talked to and gave this guy a Book of Mormon and set a return appointment! It was sweet. Wednesday we had a really good lesson with Christina on the Plan of Salvation. It answered a lot of her questions about the after life and our exchange bore powerful testimony on the Gift of the Holy Ghost. Friday we had a lesson with a new investigator named John. He brought up some anti but we got past that and taught the restoration. He can't meet with us for about a week and a half but he was excited to read the Book of Mormon, so we're pretty stoked about him! Saturday morning we went to the ward easter party and met a lot of the members. We also did lots of stopbys and tracting, gave out a few Book of Mormons, and got a return appointment. Sunday was church! and Easter!! Sadly we didn't have any investigators at church. :( We had dinner at the Bishops. The Bishop is just super relaxed along with his family. They gave us an easter bag of candy which we thought was really nice. After dinner we stopped by some potential investigators and less-actives and set a return appointment! At the end of the night we took a little easter basket to one of the members of the ward who helps us out a lot, and just loves missionaries. It was really nice and I think she liked it a lot. One of the less-actives we stopped by had a little girl who gave us both an easter egg which was really sweet.    Thanks for the belt and candy! the bigger package you sent didn't fit in our mail slot so we are going to the post office today to pick it up. I realize that you just sent me stuff but could y'all help me out again :D there are some really cool cards/posters/pictures of Book of Mormon and Bible characters on the wall at a missionary apartment and I was wondering if you could check out the websites realheroposter.com and bibleheroposters.com and see if you can order some. they have just little card ones and if y'all could order me a few of those that would be super cool. Our investigators Josh & Anicka who I was teaching in Denton, Elder Johnson, Brother Welcher, and I all crammed into his Ford Ranger that we cruised around in all the time, and my district in Denton.
