June 4

This has been a pretty good week. Monday evening we had a lesson with a new investigator named Angie who we met in our apt. comp. She has a faith in christ but doesn't go to any particular church now. the lesson went pretty well and we're trying to work out a time to meet with her again this week. Thursday we met with Travis and Bryanna. We read from the Book of Mormon with them. The lesson with ok, their daughter Aubrey is sick so there were some distractions there. OH and thursday was the last day of the month and we had no miles so we biked all day, it was pretty awesome. Wednesday was kind of a strange day. We went to go see a part member family and while we were talking to the wife she asked if we wanted a sandwich. We said sure, and 20 minutes later we were walking out of her house with like 4 grocery bags full of food from her pantry lol. Wednesday evening our exchange was on his way to pick us up and his car broke down. So we had to drive out to where he was at, pick him up, take him to walmart to get oil, take him back to his car, and it still didn't start! Luckily our appointment wasn't home anyways so we didn't miss them, but it was just kind of funny. Friday we helped our ward mission leader, Brother Fowler, cut down one of his neighbors trees! That was pretty sweet. We also had an awesome lesson with a new investigator named Katie, in a member home! The member is a really good friend of hers and they have talked a lot about the church together. Saturday we helped some members pack up to move back to Iowa. They also unloaded a bunch of extra food on us. Our pantry is stocked! Unfortunately we didn't have any investigators at church on sunday, but Marc and Samantha came for sacrament, which was good to see. Elder Nance has been sick this last week so he's been battling that. He's pretty much over it now, so we're gonna hit Hewitt harder than it's ever been hit before this week!! giddy up!
Love y'all
