So this week has been interesting. This guy got really mad at Elder Johnson because Elder Johnson said "there's no need to be rude sir" when the guy told him to hit the road. Personally I don't think Elder Johnson should have said that, but that's what repentance is for right? We also ran into this guy who ended up talking to us for an hour and a half on his sisters front porch about the old testament and crazy things that have happened to him involving his dad's death. He was definitally a Texas talker, but I think if he work to put forth the effort and read the Book of Mormon like we asked him too, he would really like it. We also ran into a potential investigator who we had been tryin to get in contact with for almost a month finally. We were just walkin down the street and we saw him walking into his apt. so we called out and he came and talked to us and now we've got an appointment scheduled for tonight! I think our new bishop is going to be awesome. He has a new vision for the ward as he says, and hopefully lots of missionary work will be involved in it! We had a miracle at church this week. Our only real investigator called us 10 min. before church and said that he couldn't find the church so he was gonna go with a friend, so we were a little frustrated. We're sitting in the pew and a member comes up and tells us that our investigator made it, we were shocked! We turn around and it's not our investigator, it's just some other random guy that showed up! We went back and talked to him and he was saying that he had just seen the church a couple times and decided to check it out. He only stayed for sacrament meeting, but it was still awesome. He said that he was going to come back next week, but sadly he lives in a different area. We won't be able to teach him, but as long as he hears the truth, that's what is important. I hope y'all have an awesome week.
Love, Elder Jardine
