This week has been pretty good. Monday we visited a less-active member who is in the hospital. He wants us to teach him the lessons and start coming back to church, but it seems like the only time that we can meet with him is when he's in the hospital! He lives in Ponder, which is about 20 minutes away from where we live, but we are out there about once a week so hopefully we'll be able to start teaching him more often then when he's in the hospital.
Tuesday-Wednesday I went on exchange with Elder Rivero and we were in his area. Elder Rivero is a pretty young missionary, but those are my favorite kind! I have found it easier to learn from young missionaries because they usually aren't stuck in ruts that missionaries tend to get into, but they still have a fire for the work that makes miracles happen.
Wednesday we had interviews with President Sagers. I love these moments that I have one on one time with President. He never misses an opportunity to teach the gospel, even in interviews. Did you get the picture that a member took of us on thursday? Her son is on a mission in Salt Lake City right now and a member there took a picture of him and sent it to her. She thought that it was such a good idea that she wanted to do it with us as well. They're a great family and the daughter who is in the picture is super funny.
That's about it for this week. Lot's of knocking doors and trying to teach people the gospel! We're expecting a lot of miracles this week because we have 4 meetings that we have to go to, so we're loosing a lot of prosleyting time. Miracles always happen when you use what little time that you have to do the Lord's work though!
Y'all have a great week!
Love, Elder Jardine
