This has been an interesting week. I may have said this last week but we went bowling for pday, so that was pretty chill. Then tuesday we had a companion exchange so i was in charge of the area for the day, that was cool. We taught the restoration and we build up to the first vision and right when we are going to quote it from JSH, the bishop swoops in and just tells the story! So if you're ever out on exchanges with the missionaries, let them tell the first vision, it's a great way to find out if people are really listening, and 99% of the time everyone feels the spirit. Then on thursday we were met with this young couple, who were super in to the lesson, both admitted to feeling the spirit, so we invite them to baptism and the wife is all for it, but the husband is like "We want to check out some other churches and see if there is something close"... so lame! But we've all got our agency, so we'll just have to wait for him to realize that mormons are the best and come back to us :). Then friday evening it poured all evening! (yes it does actually rain in Texas, I didn't believe it either) Our appointment cancelled too so we had nothing to from like 7 to 9, so we worked on some stuff in the apt. Saturday we set another baptismal date! He came to church on sunday as well, so we're pretty excited about this guy. Sunday was good, a member in our ward works for hershey and we had dinner at her house, and we got loaded up with candy, and we're talkin like full size candy bars, the good stuff, It was sweet!
Thanks for the jaw breaker by the way, I'm pretty sure that thing is gonna last me my whole mission lol. Hope everything stays good at home and I love and miss you all!
