April 30 Investigators at sacrament!!!!!!!!!

This has been a super good week! Tuesday after district meeting I went on exchange with Elder Treuter. Elder Treuter is from Detroit, 22ish and joined the church when he was 18. He has a super awesome testimony and loves missionary work with all his heart. He's also super funny so add all that together and it was an awesome exchange! Wednesday morning we went to go see Christina, and she still wants to meet with us and learn more but her dad thinks that she should pray for us instead of listen to us. She doesnt want to come to church or be baptized without her fathers ok (she is in her 20's but lives on his property) so we're not sure how much longer we're going to be able to meet with her. Our goal is to get her connected with a member who can continue to fellowship her even after we stop meeting so that when her fathers heart is softened she'll have an awesome testimony and be baptized! :D Wednesday afternoon right before we switched back Elder Treuter and I set a baptismal date with a man named Steve! It was our first appointment and one of the very first things that he asked us was if we baptize at the church or go to a river, it was super sweet. He was really excited to come to church but unfortunately didn't make it there. We have an appointment to meet with him this week so hopefully he'll make it this coming week. Our investigators Travis and Bryanna made it to church though!!! I think they really enjoyed it. It was so cool to see how the members welcomed them and really made them feel at home. We had an appointment with them saturday night and the member who was with us stayed with Travis the whole time, showed him where to go, introduced him to people, and everything it was just awesome! It's so cool to see fellowshipping and member missionary work going on! Getting members involved helps with missionary work so much, it's unbelievable. We're teaching Bryanna and Travis how to have a family home evening tonight which should be fun. Oh and friday while we were tracting we found a part member family who wasn't in our records! The husband is a member and when they go to church it's usually to the Waco 1st ward because that is where all of his family is. The wife has read like half the Book of Mormon and they are open to us coming over to teach her! She has a real interest in learning more and we're super excited to teach her. This is the last week of the transfer so one of us might be leaving, but we both just got here so I doubt it is gonna happen. Love y'all and have a great week!
