May 7

drum roll..... I'm staying!! So is Elder Nance!! Not to surprising but still exciting. So this week has been super good. Tuesday evening we taught Bryanna and Travis the Word of Wisdom, they had a lot of questions but over all took it pretty well. Wednesday we did a lot of tracting and had a couple appointments punch, but we did have dinner with a nonmember which was kinda cool. He used to live in Burley, Idaho and there were always missionaries coming to see him. He knew we worked hard and respected what we do, so he started taking them out to dinner when they had a free day. Some other missionaries had tracted into him here and we went to contact him and he offered us dinner so it was pretty sweet. He's not super interested in learning, but he was still super nice and it was cool to get to talk with him for a while. He actually used to be a preacher for a 7th day Adventist church. Thursday we taught Bryanna and Travis again and we taught the Law of Chastity. They aren't married, but live together and have a kid, so they may as well be. They took it super well, and we committed them to pray about what it would take for them to be married. Friday morning we did some service for this lady our ward mission leader knows. We were gonna do yard work but had to get some old sheds out of the way first, and we ended up doing that the whole time instead. The sheds had fallen over and they were to heavy for us to pick up and move so we used the members tahoe and trailer to pull them, it was pretty sweet! We had dinner with a part member family named the Spences. He is a member but she is not. They are super cool and Brother Spence has desires to come back into activity, he knows that he wants his kids raised in the gospel. When we brought up baptism Sister Spence wasn't opposed to it, but she said that she just wasn't ready for it at this time. We were also able to meet with our investigator Steve for a few minutes. He was having a rough day so we talked with him about the atonement and how it covers everything. Unfortunately nobody made it to church sunday. We had a combined meeting with priesthood/relief society/ and all the youth for 3rd hour. We introduced the ward mission plan and Elder Nance and I both spoke on Preach My Gospel. Something that the Bishop and Ward Mission Leader want to get started is the ward missionaries along with the full time missionaries teaching members lessons from Preach My Gospel. It's a really good idea and we're looking forward to carrying it out. All the time in between teaching was spent finding people to teach! So about sunday, we get out of church at 1:30 which is 12:30 there, so I'm guessing I'll be calling 2-3 o'clock here which is 1-2 there. Not exactly sure what all we are doing, but I promise that I'll call in the afternoon. If that isn't going to work... send me a letter lol. Anyways love y'all and have a great week talk to ya sunday!

  Love, Elder Jardine
