This has been an interesting week. Monday evening we had an awesome lesson with our investigators Shane and Bailey. We taught the Plan of Salvation and they had some great questions that we were able to answer from the bible <-- great book btw. They said that if they came to know that our message is true they would be baptized so hopefully we'll be able to set a date with them in the near future! Wednesday we went over to a less-actives house to give her a blessing and ended up being there for like 45 minutes while she unloaded all of her problems on us. It was... ya. I walked out of her house with a big headache and emotionally drained, yes it's true I have emotions. Thursday we went on exchange with our Zone leaders and I was with Elder Fibke, man he's a good missionary! It was really cool to be able to see him in action and learn from him. We had a lesson with Josh and Anicka and we taught the importance of the Book of Mormon. It went really well and the spirit was super strong. We could tell that Anicka felt the spirit and loved it, but we think that Josh is a little afraid of it because he knows that he isn't living the gospel standards. Sunday we had a less-active come to church, but he couldn't stay the whole time because he was having anxiety attacks. he suffers from ptsd. We also had a private investigator and his coworker come from colorado. The coworker wasn't a member, but he was interested in the gospel and we pretty much taught him the first lesson for gospel principles class, which was sweet. He's super solid and we were sad that he doesn't live in Texas.
